We are currently seeking to hire a Mechanical Designer to join our growing and well-established company.

Job Description

  • Work as part of the Engineering group to design Emission Control Product, Silencer, and Stack & Working Platform.
  • Collect information from our sales team and Sr. Design Engineers.
  • 3D modeling and drawings from concept to manufacturing detail.
  • Sheet metal parts design, Tooling/Fixture design, prepare detailed production and engineering drawing.
  • Prepare layer by layer BOM in ERP system.
  • Perform Analytical & CAD Simulation.
  • Communicate and follow up with different departments.
  • Continuous improvement, trouble shooting.

 

Educational Requirements

  • Degree of Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
  • Efficient with 3D modeling in SolidWorks, 2D drawings in AutoCAD
  • Familiar with GD & T, BOM structure
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office

 

Additional Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Min. 7 years of related working experience in mechanical design, drafting, & manufacturing
  • Must have min. 3 years if recent continuous working experience with Solidworks.
  • **Strong working knowledge and experience to perform Analytical and CAD Simulation. (Required)
  • Experience with Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) & Finite element analysis (FEA).
  • Work on multi-discipline projects and conflicting deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Good team player, Enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Travel to Sites for troubleshooting ad hoc.
