Spray Painter/Production Helper

Our Ideal Candidate

We are a fast-paced, highly motivated team of individuals, looking for a Spray Painter/Production Helper to join our growing team. Afternoon shift available!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking before painting.
  • Perform masking to protect areas that should not be painted according to specifications.
  • Mix and apply paint or coatings using spray guns according to specifications.
  • Use forklift to handle and position large parts for painting.
  • Perform touch-ups and finishing work to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Inspect painted products to ensure smooth and uniform finishes, free from defects.
  • Maintain painting equipment, tools, and work areas in clean and working condition.
  • Follow safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Complete painting tasks according to production schedules and deadlines.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Production Helper:

Support production operations as directed by the Production Manager or Supervisor.

Other Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work at both Millway and Bowes Road locations as needed.
  • Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to assist with additional tasks as assigned.
  • Good organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
