Our Ideal Candidate
We are a fast-paced, highly motivated team of individuals, looking for a Spray Painter/Production Helper to join our growing team. Afternoon shift available!
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking before painting.
- Perform masking to protect areas that should not be painted according to specifications.
- Mix and apply paint or coatings using spray guns according to specifications.
- Use forklift to handle and position large parts for painting.
- Perform touch-ups and finishing work to ensure high-quality standards.
- Inspect painted products to ensure smooth and uniform finishes, free from defects.
- Maintain painting equipment, tools, and work areas in clean and working condition.
- Follow safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of hazardous materials.
- Complete painting tasks according to production schedules and deadlines.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support production operations as directed by the Production Manager or Supervisor.
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work at both Millway and Bowes Road locations as needed.
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to assist with additional tasks as assigned.
- Good organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
