We are currently seeking to hire a Mechanical Designer to join our growing and well-established company.
Job Description
- Work as part of the Engineering group to design Emission Control Product, Silencer, and Stack & Working Platform.
- Collect information from our sales team and Sr. Design Engineers.
- 3D modeling and drawings from concept to manufacturing detail.
- Sheet metal parts design, Tooling/Fixture design, prepare detailed production and engineering drawing.
- Prepare layer by layer BOM in ERP system.
- Perform Analytical & CAD Simulation.
- Communicate and follow up with different departments.
- Continuous improvement, trouble shooting.
Educational Requirements
- Degree of Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
- Efficient with 3D modeling in SolidWorks, 2D drawings in AutoCAD
- Familiar with GD & T, BOM structure
- Efficient with Microsoft Office
Additional Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Min. 7 years of related working experience in mechanical design, drafting, & manufacturing
- Must have min. 3 years if recent continuous working experience with Solidworks.
- **Strong working knowledge and experience to perform Analytical and CAD Simulation. (Required)
- Experience with Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) & Finite element analysis (FEA).
- Work on multi-discipline projects and conflicting deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Good team player, Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Travel to Sites for troubleshooting ad hoc.
